Patricia Fogliato is a writer, director and producer of cultural/arts programs, most recently co-writing and producing YOUKALI HOTEL (2003).

Patricia also recently wrote and directed DEAR JULIET (2003), an hour-long documentary for TVOntario’s The View From Here series. DEAR JULIET explores the enduring myth of Shakespeare’s tragic heroine, and the thousands of lovelorn letters, which people from all over the world write to her each year, addressed simply to Juliet, Verona, Italy.

Patricia’s co-directing credits with her husband/partner David Mortin include the Genie Award-nominated ENIGMATICO (1995), an hour-long arts documentary that interweaves the poetry, opera, painting, sculpture and photography of several prominent Italian-Canadian artists. TIME ON EARTH(1997) follows three seniors as they travel the highways of North America in their motor-homes. THE LANZA SESSIONS (2000) portrays Canadian opera star, Richard Margison, as he records the soundtrack for an upcoming Hollywood feature based on the life of Mario Lanza.
