Paul Sarossy is undeniably one of Canada’s foremost cinematographers. He is a five-time winner of the Genie Award for Best Cinematography, including the 2005 award for HEAD IN THE CLOUDS, starring Charlize Theron and Penelope Cruz. Last year he also received the 2004 Canadian Society of Cinematographers “Kodak New Century Award”, honouring his ‘outstanding contribution to the art of cinematography’.
While Paul is best known as a long-time collaborator of director Atom Egoyan, he has also worked with an impressive array of world-renowned filmmakers, including Paul Schrader, Roger Spottiswoode, Denys Arcand, Patricia Rozema, Norman Jewison and Peter Bogdanovich. In 2001, Paul made his directorial debut with the award-winning British feature, MR. IN BETWEEN.
