Born and raised in Toronto, Stephen Traynor began his career in the film and television industry fifteen years ago. After a brief stint in the fashion industry, Stephen began working at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, first in various jobs in production and eventually working in the Production Financing department.
He later took the position of Business Affairs Manager and Associate Producer at Catalyst Entertainment, participating on such varied projects as UNIVERSAL SOLDIER II and UNIVERSAL SOLDIER III for Show-time Networks, the feature film THOMAS AND THE MAGIC RAILROAD and WHAT KATY DID, a family movie co-produced by the BBC.
Since 2000, Stephen has been working as a freelance Production Manager and Producer. His recent credits include Production Manager of LUCK, a feature film directed by Peter Wellington and executive-produced by Atom Egoyan, as well as Producer of the Gemini-nominated DEATH AND THE MAIDEN and Gemini award-winning FROM TIME TO TIME, a dance film featuring the music of Joni Mitchell.
